Dawn Clements (1958-2018)

The drawing world lost a champion in Dawn Clements, who passed away on December 4 after a battle with cancer. A hero of mine, her images of spaces seduced and held, her marks both descriptive and poetic. Seeing her work in person was to have a quiet conversation with time, as felt and expressed on the page.
